I think my son taught me an important lesson today.
My mother travels form time to time and has small jars filled with foreign money. One had a lot of 20 and 50 euro cent pieces. My two year old likes to play with them, but I never knew why until today.
As I was sitting with him, watching him play with the coins, he held a 50 euro cent piece up to me and asked "Chocolate? Open?"
All at once I understood why the British don't want to switch to the Euro.
No one wants money that looks like Hannukah gelt.
