In my
earlier post, I asked about Obama:
Were he Barry O'Bama, born of Irish and Jewish parents, with
milk-colored skin and red hair, but with the same rhetoric, would Oprah
be endorsing him over Hillary? In fact, would he have made it this far
in the primaries? Would he even have held his office in Illinois?
Having read my own question, I realized that life had provided me with an answer.
He may not have been Irish and Jewish, but we had a white Obama, with the same rhetoric. His name was John Edwards. And we all know how well his campaign went.
