So, What's Left?

Since Obama has added even more to the list of things we can't criticise I am reposting my list of things we can't criticize about Obama:

We cannot criticize his wife's beliefs, as it will upset him. (And you wouldn't like him when he's angry.)

We cannot criticize Reverend Wright, as that is applying a religious test.

We can't criticize Father Pfeleger for the same reason.

And anyway, he left that church after attending for only twenty years, as he finally figured out what they believe.

In fact, we can't even mention that Wright and Pfleger were Obama spiritual advisers, as that has become un-history, and they are now one step removed from total strangers.

We can't question ties to Farrakhan or the New Black Panthers, as he is post-racial, whatever that means.

In fact, we can't criticize any mention he makes of race, as he is not using race in his campaign, even when he does.

We can't criticize his involvement with domestic terrorist Billy Ayers, as that is guilt by association.

We can't criticize his ties to dubious character Tony Rezko, as he doesn't really know the man. And it was just a house purchase, anyway.

We can't criticize his platform, as he ran without one. The single word "change" is not a platform.

We can't criticize his position on Israel, as he has held every position you can name.

We can't accuse him of wanting to negotiate with terrorists, as he won't, except when he will.

We can't accuse him of being soft on Iran as he he realizes they are the biggest tiny threat to the US that we shouldn't worry about.

We can't criticize him on Iraq, as he is for immediate withdraw without drastically changing US policy, and who isn't for that?

And even if he does withdraw, he promises to come back if Al Qaida sets up in Iraq. (Though he never said if they have to leave first.)

We can't say he is weak on Moslem extremists, as he wants to invade our Moslem allies.

We can't accuse him of wanting unconditional talks with dictators, as he will put conditions on his unconditional talks.

We can't criticize his opposition to NAFTA, as it never applied to Canadians, and now it doesn't apply to anyone. (Unless it does.)

We certainly can't criticize him for failing to answer tough questions in debates, as no one would dare ask those again. (Sorry Charlie and George.)

We can't criticize his record, as that is looking back, and he is a forward looking guy.

We can't criticize all his gaffes, as everyone makes mistakes. Who hasn't miscounted the states once in their lives?

So, we are left with...

Um, hey that guy has some big ears.
