I asked before why Republicans are letting the Democrats blame them for a crisis the Democrats created and refused to fix, even when the Republicans pointed out this very possibility several years ago. But, worse still, why on earth is no Republican pointing out that Obama
received more from Fannie Mae than all but one other senator?
Isn't that the sort of information voters need to know?
Actually, why is the press not saying a word? Were the tables turned, they would certainly be trumpeting that revelation. In fact, were it McCain with that record of contributions, I can guarantee the press would be telling us that it was clear evidence of complicity in our financial straights. But since it is Obama, not a word has been uttered.
So much for an unbiased, adversarial press. Welcome to the era of the press as adjunct of the DNC.
