Obama is for more money for education. Show of hands, who is surprised.

Obama should read my blog though. More funds for college
just make college more expensive (link to come), but Obama seems to think throwing yet more money at the problem will make it go away. At least eh is making McCain's argument that he always wants to spend more and always wants more government.

On the other hand, McCain's response is no surprise either. Charter schools and vouchers. I find the argument persuasive, but I always did, so I am probably not a good unbiased source of opinion on this one.
I am happy to hear a Republican arguing publicly to break the back of the teachers' unions and schools of education. That has been a dead issue since 1994, for the most part.
Though McCain wants to throw money at colleges as well, so perhaps he should read my blog as well.
