I was reading
comments about transsexualism and I found this gem:

look female when born, but naturally change to a male appearance later,

form of Klinefelter syndrome, not the 46xy usually found in males, nor
the 46xx usually found in females, but 47xxy. Quite a number, possibly
as many as 3%, of people thought to be “transsexual” turn out to be
Kleinfelter as well. // There’s the 46xy women who have given birth,
and the 46xx men who have fathered children. Biology is far less
cut-and-dried than most people realise. There’s little excuse for not
teaching this in schools, as the medical articles are all on the net at
PubMed. // OK, let’s talk about transsexuality - it’s now been proven
in many different experiments in many different countries (Germany,
Sweden, the Netherlands to name a few) that transsexuals have
cross-gendered neurology. I’ll keep it simple - female brain in male
body, or the reverse. This can be seen in autopsies, fMRI scans etc,
it’s not subtle. Now why this leads to cross-gendered gender identity,
we don’t know, any more than we know the mechanisms causing
left-handedness, musical talent, or autism. // I was under the
(obviously mistaken) impression that Eire was mainly Catholic, or at
least Christian. But no Christian would condemn people as “freaks” for
a congenital medical problem. And every Christian should at least have
read the Bible once - Isaiah 56:3-5 say, or Matthew 19:12, where
Intersex conditions are mentioned.
Now, apparently, this is the left wing orthodoxy. Transsexuals are not insane, or even troubled, they have "female minds" in male bodies. And it can be biologically demonstrated, though I don't know exactly what the definition of a biologically "female" mind is. Can a pathologist look at a disembodied brain and tell me the sex of the body? Or have double blind studies proven anyone's ability to determine sex via an fMRI?(I am serious, I don't know the answer to that one, though it sounds a bit dubious to me. It sounds more like PC dogma masquerading as "science".)
But wait! Didn't Larry Summers of Harvard get into immense trouble with liberals for suggesting there were biological differences between men and women that could explain career choices? And didn't the left pillory him for suggesting there was any biological foundation for sexual identity?
So, if there is no biological difference, what does it mean to have a "female mind"?
This reminds me of the liberal dogma that women are every bit as competent as men and should be given every opportunity, and should be treated as just as competent, even allowed in combat units. But on the other hand, they need to be protected from "hostile environments", in other words, dirty jokes that men handle without issue. Not to mention that they need to be protected from "exploitation" by pornography, fashion magazines, and Playboy. In other words, women are just as strong as men, but need special protection as well.
Don't the liberals notice the contradictions, and why doesn't it disturb them that their orthodoxy requires them to hold mutually exclusive beliefs?
