If Bush had proposed a plan and in the process of getting congressional approval polls showed only 28% of Americans supported it, I think the press would have run a story about how Bush was forcing unwanted laws down the public's throat and harped on the low numbers to show how little confidence the public had in Bush. So will they do the same with
an Obama supported initiative? Or will we now hear how the public just doesn't understand the brilliance of the president's plan?
