Now that Arab states are
saying the Iranians are trying to acquire nuclear weapons (or rather, since they said so in 2006, about a year after Washington bureaucrats said they weren't) can we admit that they are? Or do we have to stick by the NIE form the "I Hate Bush" choir at the CIA and Foggy Bottom and still pretend they "accidentally" underestimated the amount of nuclear fuel they had and just want to put weather satellites in orbit?
Well, makes sense, it isn't as if they have any energy sources other than nuclear, not petroleum or natural gas.
Can we return to reality now and admit Iran wants the bomb and an ICBM to deliver it. Whether to threaten or because they feel Israel is a threat is irrelevant. We still need to face reality rather than indulge in the fantasy that they are just building little electrical generators. After all, we can all see how well denial worked for Clinton in dealing with North Korea.

adopting the Starfleet logo.
