I am afraid I let
an important story get by me. I have been rather distracted by other matters and only recently noticed
the articles appearing on the absurd actions by the CPSC and
the insane, unenforceable law that congress passed to ban lead in 2008. (Which
even NPR is arguing
may be unneeded.)I will be getting back to this shortly in much more detail, but I did have one thought: During a recession is it a good idea to
impose massive costs on nearly every business, from the largest manufactuer down to thrift stores, knitters and yard sales? But as soon as I asked the question I realized the Demcorats must think so, otherwise, how to explain
cap and trade?
