One More Good Article

I wrote before that the Obama administration and the OAS are completely wrong on the Zelaya issue ("A Hypothetical Situation II"). It is nice to see the WSJ taking the same position. What is disturbing is how few other media outlets are pointing out the obvious in this case. Listening to mainstream news on the supposed "military coup", one could almost forget that Mr. Zelaya was not only acting in opposition to the elected government, but in violation of the constitution of Honduras. The only people who can consider their coverage comprehensive is the Obama adminsitration itself.

Which brings up a question I have had. I know the media is in love with the president, but don't they realize that their lap dog act during this administration may put them in good standing with their idol,. but he will leave office eventually, and after he is gone, who will take seriously such an obsequious press corps?

Maybe the MSM is hoping Obama will pull a Zelaya, and they will be the cherished propaganda corps of the Beloved Leader. It is the only way I can make sense of their self-destructive pandering to the Obama administration. Either that or they have decided the public already lost faith in them, so there is no need to try to appear impartial.
