I have compared Obama to Carter before*, but this time I think we are drifting a little farther back into the past. Is it me, or do all the
recent investigations into the CIA remind anyone else of the disastrous Church committee? We still haven't recovered from that inquisition and the bizarre rules it applied (FISA anyone?). And we are repeating it again? Those who forget history really are doomed to repeat it.
But it also seems those who study history in the Ivy League are doomed to repeat it as well.
