Just a brief note, as I will look at this in more detail later, but the Democrat's general support for removing HUD funding from ACORN bodes well for all politics until 2010. Had they thought they had their seats locked up, they would not have gone along with stripping a favored group of finances. As they felt they had to, it means that at least some Democrats feel they are in jeopardy. That being the case, it is unlikely they will move on any unpopular Obama measures until after the 2010 elections. For the moment we can breathe easy.
