I was
reading a WSJ article and found something quite interesting. Even before the nationalization of healthcare takes place, Obama is already cutting medicare payments for cardiology, imaging and oncology. In other words, even before he takes over medicine entirely, rationing is already cutting services.
Does anyone really think there will be less rationing under the Obama plan?
Of course there may be a rationale. By making Medicare and Medicaid even less desirable, Obama may be able tos care seniors and the poor into jumping on board with his plan in hope of getting more. But I think he underestimates seniors. AARP may be int he tank, but there are a lot of politically savvy seniors who know where these cuts originate.
Obama may have slipped up. Rather than manufacturing support for his plan, he may have lost his party congress.
