As I have established the practice of announcing upcoming posts, I thought I would take it a bit farther and actually list the posts I intend to write in order. Not only will this help my readers know what to expect, but it will also help force me to stick to some sort of schedule.
So, using my last list of upcoming posts, with a few additions from recent articles, here is the list:
1. Bad Economics Part 7 - What is Inflation? : The title says it all.
2. Bad Economics Part 8 - Bankruptcies, Bruises, Fevers and Extinctions : I am still not explaining this until I write it.
3. How Green is my Technology : A look at the real potential for pollution in green technologies
4. Bad Economics Part 9 : As yet without a subtitle. Based on the footnote to "Be of Good Cheer", looking at why we give control over the money supply to congress or the Fed after they repeatedly fail to meet promises.
5. Bad Economics Part 10: A look at the true causes of unemployment and how traditional fixes may actually cause unemployment.
6. Bad Economics Part 11 - The Truth About Monopolies : A look at what really makes monopolies possible
7. Bad Economics Part 12 - Profit, Advertising and the Free Market : An examination of the role those "wasted funds" play in the free market, and a rebuttal of the socialist arguments that eliminating advertising and profits will make socialist systems more efficient.
8. An as yet untitled post asking why some team names and mascots (Braves, Redskins) draw ire, while others (Fighting Irish, Vikings) do not, and what significance that has.
It is possible that some new topic will come up and cause me to fail to stick to this schedule. But as much as possible I do inted, for once, to follow the schedule I have laid out here.
