It seems my thoughts are catching on. First Krauthammer wrote about liberal arrogance, as I described in "
I Said It First", and now there is much discussion of the article "
Why are liberals so condescending?" The answer is obvious, and one I have been giving for years. Liberals are condescending because the philosophical basis for all intervention is a belief in the general incompetence of mankind. Once you believe man is competent, there is no need to intervene. Thus, liberals are condescending because they must be, otherwise they wouldn't be liberals.
Still, it is nice that at least a few people are noticing the patterns I have been explaining for years.
