I am often surprised at the dramatic timing of events, it seems sometimes as f there is some great author scripting events just to provide me with a dramatic example of one of my claims. Such was the recent atheist rally in Washington. (See
here.) Granted, it was relatively small, and received little press, but it was also a perfect example of the kind of anti-religious animosity I described in "
A Question". More interesting is the timing, as in comments to that essay, my reader CW14 said that atheists aren't holding rallies or marching. It just seems quite kind of them to hold a rally for me, and even nicer of them to use it to vent their rather childish resentments against religion. It is almost as if they were doing it just to prove my point.
